We are looking for a Commercial Underwriter that can write business under existing delegated binding authority agreements in a competitive market place whilst maintaining good loss ratios.
The role will involve writing New Business and processing mid-term adjustments and renewals.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in writing New Business and being able to build strong business relationships with our existing network of over 250 brokers.
You will be required to display excellent technical and communication skills. You will have a minimum of 5 years commercial combined underwriting experience.
- Technical Experience
- Commercial Combined insurance knowledge
- Proven track record of working to and achieving individual targets
- Proficient in MS Office and with aptitude to use other MS Windows-based software
- Communication skills – able to communicate to people with various levels of knowledge, over the telephone and in writing
- Ensure you work within the binding authorities issued to us by insurers
